George and Millie came to Cope, Colorado in 1913 and homesteaded on land northwest of Cope. Four children were born to the couple on the homestead.
Olive was born Jan. 22, 1915.
Clarence was born Feb. 20, 1918.
Florence was born May 17, 1921
Arlena born July 12, 1923
Millie died Jul. 3, 1929.
After Millie died, George married Mary Odessa Queen in January 1931 and they had two children:
Robert "Bob" born November 24
Georgia Jean born March 1,
Mary Odessa (Queen) Anderson died May 9, 1954.
George later married Jennie Marie Maddox September 12, 1956 .
George died January 10, 1970.
