Edna A. Reinke, 97, a former Town of Mosel resident, died Monday evening, August 7, 2006 at Sunny Ridge Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Sheboygan where she resided the past 131/2 years. She was the former Edna Schreiber born November 10, 1908 , in the Town of Meeme, daughter of the late August & Helena Schneider Schreiber. Edna attended school at Schwarzwald. On February 6, 1926 she married Leslie O. Reinke at St. John's United Church of Christ, Schwarzwald, Town of Herman. The couple farmed in the Town of Mosel all their life. Her husband Leslie preceded her in death on February 24, 1976. Edna was a member of St. John's UCC, Schwarzwald, where she was baptized and confirmed, and was a former member of St. Paul Ladies Aid. She was general & project leader of the Mosel Farm & Home 4-H Club for 46 years & enjoyed teaching young girls to crochet, knit & sew. Edna also was a charter member of the Mosel Homemakers and the Sheboygan Co. Knitting Club. She enjoyed playing cards and was a member of numerous card clubs. Survivors include two daughters, Rosemarie (Herbert) Dickman, rural Elkhart Lake, Nancy Jean Fleming, Ft. Worth, Texas, one son-in-law, Willard Meyer, rural Newton, nine grandchildren & twelve great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Helen Marie Meyer, one son-in-law, David Fleming, four grandchildren, one great grandchild, five sisters and three brothers. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 12, 2006 at St. John's UCC, Schwarzwald, W3401 Orchard Road, Elkhart Lake with the Rev. Rebecca Johnston officiating. Burial will take place in St. Paul's Cemetery, Town of Mosel.
