The funeral service for Alois F. Erdelt, 68, of Ellendale was held at 2:30 p.m., Saturday, August 19 in the Holte Funeral Home with Mr. Kenneth Olson officiating. Burial was in the Ellendale Cemetery with Holte Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Miss Betty Braasch of Minot was organist and Mr. and Mrs. Richard Peterson of Milnor sang a duet.
Pallbearers were Russel Schaller, Dick Olson, Lester Jackson, Julius Ferch, Gene Olson and William Randall.
Alois, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Erdelt, was born December 3, 1903 in Iowa and was married to Eva B. Smith, June 30, 1926 at Aberdeen, S. D. He was an auto mechanic. Mr. Erdelt was a patient in Memorial Hospital when he died August 17.

He is survived by his wife; one son, Virgil of Steele, one sister, Mrs. Emma Barsness, and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters, and seven brothers.
