Karen Lee Allen, 62, returned peacefully to her Heavenly Father on March 7, 2016, after an extended illness. Karen was born in Ogden, Utah to Wallace and Beverly Allen on December 21, 1953. She was brought home from the hospital on Christmas Eve, and from that time was a gift to everyone who knew her.

She graduated from Bonneville High School and attended Weber State University. She served in both the Army and the Army Reserve. During the Gulf War, she served with the 328th Hospital in Augsburg, Germany. She worked at Tanner Clinic in medical records.

She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and was grateful to the many people who helped her throughout the years. She especially appreciated Kay Hargis, for his kindness and friendship. Karen had a love of all God's creatures, especially cats. She loved to give gifts to family and friends. She enjoyed music, movies, and doing crafts.

Karen is survived by her two sisters, Susan Nunn and Kathy (Mike) Dennis, and three brothers, Jeff (Sheri) Allen, Jon Allen, and Greg (Janet) Allen, along with many nieces and nephews.

Friends and family are invited to attend a Graveside service on Saturday, March 12, 2016 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist's Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd., Ogden. Services entrusted to Lindquist's Ogden Mortuary.
