Services will be Tuesday for Helen Ann Pantelis, wife of former Waukesha Ald. George K. Pantelis, who died Sunday following an automobile accident in which her husband was severely injured. She was 54.

After receiving a bachelor's degree in education from the College of St. Scholastica in Duluth, Minn., in 1962, she pursued a master's degree from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.

She taught several years for the Milwaukee Public Schools and joined the Hamilton School District in 1970, where she taught second, fourth and fifth grades, primarily at Lannon Elementary School.

She was very active at Holy Assumption Greek Orthodox Church in Madison, where she was a church advocate.

Survivors include her husband, George; one son, Gus (Sue); one daughter, Elizabeth Pantelis; one stepdaughter, Dina (George C.) Smith; a brother, George Louis Rouman Jr.; a sister, Rosemary; and a grandson. She was a daughter of the late George Louis Rouman Sr., and Rosa Fragle Rouman.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, with a Trisagio service at 7, at the Randle-Dable Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave., Waukesha. Services will begin at 10 a.m. Tuesday at SS. Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church, 2160 Wauwatosa Ave., Wauwatosa. Please meet at the church. Burial will follow at Prairie Home Cemetery, 605 S. Prairie Ave., Waukesha.

The family suggests memorials to the American Heart Association or the Shrine Hospital fund.
