BUFFALO -- Lottie O'Shields Barnett, 82, of 1129 Meadowoods Road died April 2, 2000, at Ellen Sagar Nursing Home, after a lengthy illness.

A native of Union, she was the wife of Jessie E. (Bill) Barnett of Buffalo, and a daughter of the late Sam and Clara Gregory O'Shields.

She was a member of Putman Baptist Church.

Surviving in addition to her husband are one daughter, Florence Meador of Union; one son, Wayne Barnette of Buffalo; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Services will be held at 4 p.m. today at Putman Baptist Church, conducted by Revs. Donald Tillman and Ron Culbertson. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The body will be placed in the church at 2 p.m. where the family will receive friends until the hour of service.

Memorials may be made to Union County Meals on Wheels, c/o Monty Lancaster, Arthur State Bank, Union, 29379; or to Putman Baptist Church Building Fund, 3692 Buffalo-West Springs Highway, Buffalo, 29379. The family will be at their respective homes.
