Thomas Jefferson Morris, one of Jefferson Township's oldest residents, died at his home, Jefferson, R. D. 1, at 1:45 a.m. Monday, Dec. 31, 1951, following an illness of two years. He was 94. A son of the late Barney and Edith Morris. The deceased was born in Jefferson Township on Dec. 18, 1857. He resided in that vicinity all his life and followed the occupation of farming. His wife, Catherine Milliken, preceded him in death on Aug. 6, 1903. Mr. Morris was the last of his family. Surviving are one daughter. Clara Pitcock; two granddaughters, Delilah Knisley of Buckingham, W.Va. and Mary Gilbert of east St. Louis, Ill., and two grandsons, John H. Pitcock of Marmet, W.Va., and Sidney Miller of Washington, Pa.
