He was a member of the Tieton Presbyterian Church and had been an elder, trustee & treasurer. He was also a Sunday School teacher for many years.
He is survived by his wife, two daughters Sybil (Mrs. Wes) Matzke & Leatrice (Mrs. Leslie) Allen both of Tieton; 4 grandchildren & 4 great-grandchildren. His son Curtis Alderman died in 1960.
