Asa Alderman died in his home on Elm Street in Tieton, WA. He was born & raised in Floyd, Va. He married Mattie Willis there in 1909. They moved to the Yakima Valley in 1911.
Occupations: Blacksmith, worked for the reclamation district, was an apple rancher, truck driver & custodian for the school district.
He was a member of the Tieton Presbyterian Church and had been an elder, trustee & treasurer. He was also a Sunday School teacher for many years.
He is survived by his wife, two daughters Sybil (Mrs. Wes) Matzke & Leatrice (Mrs. Leslie) Allen both of Tieton; 4 grandchildren & 4 great-grandchildren. His son Curtis Alderman died in 1960.
