Dale Ray McGuffin, 67, of Barton City and formerly of Richmond, died April 21, 1990 in his home.
Mr. McGuffin was born Jan. 1, 1923 in Memphis. He married Virginia Barck June 28, 1941 in Trinity Lutheran church, Port Huron.

He was a office machine repairman for Blue Water Business Machines. He was also a plasterer.

Mr. McGuffin served in the U. S. Navy during WWII as a Seabee and was a member of the Burger-Wiedbrauk V. G. W. Post 18135, Barton City.

He is survived by his wife; 10 daughters, Anna Marie Lashbrook , Deborah Miller and Terri Babcock, all of Port Huron, Susan Fuller, Donna Stuben, Bonnie Schmidt, and Nancy Czarnecki, all of Richmond, Kathleen Burkhardt, of Marysville, Becky Babcock, of Sarnia, and Vicki Adame; seven sons, Dale T., of New Mexico. Patrick, Michael and Lee, all of Port Huron, Donald, of Richmond, Ronald, of St. Clair, and Joseph, of Barton City; two sisters, Mable Wright, of Memphis, and Bernice Greene, of Detroit; a brother, Donald, of Richmond; a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Fred and Lillian Hudson, of Port Huron; 42 grandchildren; and 13 step-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son, Jerry Lee, four brother, Kenneth, John Robert and Russel, and sister, Mary Belle.

Funeral services took place April 25 in Hensch Memorial Chapel Funeral Home Richmond the Rev. Donald R. Kureger, of Faith Lutheran Church, Port Huron, officiated.

Burial was in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Wales Township,
