Funeral services for Mrs Viola Davis Saunders, 82 years of age, of Georgia, who died Saturday, November 21, in a Quitman nursing home, were held at 3 p.m. Monday November 23, in the Lucy Chapel of the Goddard Funeral Home in Reynolds. Rev E E Whialey officiated and her burial was in Crowell Cemetery. She was a life-long resident of Taylor County.
Survivors include five sisters, Mrs Julia Kilby, of Quincy, FL; Mrs Irene Pierce, of Powersville; Mrs Cora Adams, of Macon; Mrs Liela Belle Rains, of Thomaston; and Mrs Pearl Duke, of Cordele.
