Funeral services will be at 12 Noon Saturday, March 19, 2016, at the Idaho Falls LDS Central Stake Center, 2025 Jennie Lee Drive with Bishop Argyle officiating. The family will visit with friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Ammon Cemetery.
Duane was preceded in death by his first wife, Dianne Elizabeth Teasley Williams; his second wife, Janis Grover Williams; and his son, Drek R “Willie” Williams.
He is survived by his sons:, Dirk L Williams (Jeannie) of Centerville, Utah; and Kyle D Williams (Richard Northcutt) currently living in Stresa, Italy; his daughter, Kynne Marie Williams (Doyle Wood) of Wenatchee, Washington; stepsons: Bill Hoddenbach (Sandra) of Bountiful, Utah; Jim Hoddenbach (Jeannie) of Farmington, Utah; and John Hoddenbach (Tammie) of Meridian, Idaho; and more grandchildren and great-grandchildren than you can shake a stick at.
A very likeable man, Duane was beloved by family, friends, and anyone who knew him. He was active in the LDS Church, and when not spending time with his family and church duties, he was helping others in various ways according to his many talents. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He was a marathon runner and computer genius, having worked for IBM for many years.
He will be greatly missed.
