Jay C. Kruck, age 82, a Two Rivers resident, passed away on Sunday, March 13, 2016 at Meadowview Assisted Living Center, Two Rivers.

Jay was born on September 6, 1933 in Manitowoc, son of the late Ernie and Irene (Cavanaugh) Kruck. He was a graduate of St. Mary Central High in Menasha. Jay served with the United States Army Paratroopers. On July 29, 1955 he married the former Lois I. Boldt. She preceded him in death on March 8, 2011. He was the owner and operator of Jay's Y-Inn Supper Club in Door County and loved vacationing in Jamaica with Lois and his family. Jay was also a Packers and Brewers fan.

Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law: Jayne and James Schermerhorn, Neenah; one son and daughter-in-law: Brian and Linda Kruck, Two Rivers; one daughter-in-law: Sharon Kruck, Sturgeon Bay; eight grandchildren: Michael, David and Andrew Schermerhorn, Amanda Kruck, David Kruck, Sandra (Robert) Sitte, Cynthia Kruck and Christopher Kruck; two great grandchildren: Logan and Landon. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. He was also preceded in death by one son: Gregg Kruck; and one brother and sister-in-law: Gale and Mary Brennan.

Cremation has taken place at All-Care Cremation Center, Manitowoc, and a grave side service will take place at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 19, 2016 at Evergreen Cemetery, (2221 Michigan Avenue), Manitowoc.
