Ida Frances Goslin was born in Boone County, Missouri on May 18, 1869, the daughter of Jewll and Laura Shipley Goslin. She died at the age of 89 at Boone County Hospital where she had been a patient for six days.

Ida was a lifelong resident of Boone County and a lifelong member of First Baptist Church. For many years she was an employee of Fredendall's Department Store in Boone.

She was united in marriage to John R. Goslin in 1897. He preceded her in death in 1938.

Her only survivors were her brother with whom she had lived for the past five years, Earl W. Goslin. A son preceded her in death on May 6, 1954.

Funeral Services were held at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Lee C. Sheppard, Pastor of First Baptist Church officiating.

Pallbearers were Guy Dunn, Searcy Dysart, Arch Pollock, George Semon, Virgil Gardner, and Bud Gardner.

Burial in Memorial Park Cemetery, Boone, Missouri.
