"500 at K. of C. Mass

Five hundred members of Cleveland Council, Knights of Columbus, received holy communion at a memorial Mass celebrated in St. John's Cathedral yesterday morning for the 21 members of the council who died in the last 12 months. Seven of those remembered at the Mass died in the East Ohio Gas Co. fire.

They were John G. Behan, Frank M. Eirons, Michael J. Foley, John E. Johnson, Vincent F. Maher, Louis G. Ringhoff, and Nick C. Zawistowski. Rev. John J. Humansky, pastor of St Anthony and St. Bridget's Church and chaplain of the council, was celebrant of the Mass. Municipal Judge Perry A Frey presided at the breakfast in Hotel Hollenden after the Mass. Rev. James S. McGinnis, S. J., a chaplain returned from the south Pacific and now at Crile General Hospital, spoke.
