Ceacy Bradford, age 82, passed away at NHC Health Care, March 15, 2016. She was a native and lifelong resident of Rutherford County and a member of Walter Hill Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a genuine lady who had love and compassion for her family, friends and everyone she met.
Ceacy was preceded in death by her parents, Frank Blackburn and Ceacy Ruth Batey; and sister, Annette Pittard. She is survived by her husband, Charles Bradford; son, Charles B. "Bubba" Bradford; daughter, Ceacy Lee (Willy) Welch; brothers, David (Sue) Batey and Gary (Joan) Batey; sister, Mary (Robert) Richardson; grandchildren, Justin (Dana) Welch, Jake (Tasha) Welch, Becca (Keith) Sanford and Austin Bradford; and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation with the family will be 11:00 AM until time of service at 1:00 PM, Friday, March 18, 2016 at Jennings and Ayers. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery with Shelby Smith officiating. Friends and family will serve as pallbearers.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her honor to Walter Hill Baptist Church, 6607 Lebanon Road, Murfreesboro, TN 37129.
