Mary E. Edwards, age 77, of Pemberville, OH passed away on Saturday, February 27, 2016 at the Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg, OH.

She was born on July 1, 1938 in Harlan, KY to Samuel and Nancy (Moore) Polly.

On January 15, 1966 she married Norris D. Edwards in Detroit, MI.

Mary was a homemaker for the greater part of her life having raised five children. Decorating wedding cakes and floral arranging for her children were among life's highlights. She also enjoyed baking, creating various crafts, gardening, flea markets and especially garage sales.

Mary was a long time member of The Church of God in Taylor, MI, which she always considered her home church. She would later come to belong to the Church Of The Good Shepherd in Wayne, OH.

Mary is survived by her husband: Norris, children: Charles (Anitra) Dean of Boaz, AL, Steve (Malinda) Dean of Avart, MI, Shane (Wendy) Edwards of Pemberville, OH, Michele (Nathan) Ovenshire of Cross Plains, TN, Jerry (Hope) Edwards of Freeland, MI, 13 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, brothers: William Polly, Jimmy Polly, Matthew Polly, Leonard Polly, Charles Polly, Jerry Polly, sisters: "Polly" Twigg, Norma-Jean Brooks and Betty Ealy.

She was preceded in death by her parents and sisters: Ruth Barbu and infant sister: Shirley-Faye Polly.
