This William (possibly middle name is David?) can be found in the 1840 census living next to his father in Talladega, Alabama. The census shows a wife and one male under 5 years. The marriage record shows his name as William D. Funderburg married Malinda Moore on 26 July 1838 in Talladega County, Alabama.(Source:familysearch.org). I have found on FamilySearch.org two marriage sources for William D/Melinda Moore in Talladega County, one when they applied for the license on 16 July 1838 and then ten days later when they married on 26, July 1838. NOTE: In the same book it shows a marriage between Martha Moore and Marshall Washburn on Nov 1 1837. I believe this to be a sister to Malinda)
