Willie Henson Shields, 74, of 322 Lillian Ave., died at 8:45 a.m. Wednesday at SS. Mary & Elizabeth Hospital.
He was a retired employee of American standard and a Washington County native.
He is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Lora K. Scamahorne, of Bardstown, Mrs. Georgia B. Dezern, and Mrs. Mildred Young; two sons, Estil Shields, of Deatsville and Lee O. Shields and 28 grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at McDaniel Funeral Home, 4389 Park Blvd., with burial in Mount Moriah Baptist Church Cemetery, Boston, Ky. The body will be at the funeral home after 1 p.m. Thursday.
