Robert “Bobby” Clarence Lamar, 75, of Dearborn, MO, passed away March 13, 2016.

He was born on August 1, 1940 to Clarence and Eliza J. (Cain) Lamar in Platte County where he grew up and attended school.

On April 3, 1959 he was united in marriage to Judith Ann Simpson. After their marriage they lived in Platte City and after his retirement they moved to Dearborn. Judy passed away on December 4, 2013.

Bobby worked for Ford Motor Company for 15 years. He then owned and operated Lamar Shoe Repair in Platte City for over 20 years. Bobby enjoyed remodeling houses and taking care of his family.

He was also preceded in death by his parents; his brother Harold M. Lamar; sister-in-law Gladys Lamar; sisters Edna F. Lewis and Dorothy L. Patterson; brother-in-law Edward Lewis and son-in-law Dennis Samborski.

Bobby is survived by his children Lori Samborski and Robert Ray Lamar and wife Pamela; grandchildren Dustin Pritchard and wife Missy, April Browning, Amanda Wooldridge and husband Jeff, and Jacob Lamar; nine great-grandchildren; sister Elsie M. Reineke and husband Irvin; brother-in-law Edward Patterson; his companion Linda Lance; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
