Geraldine M. Adlebush, 89, Green Bay, died Wednesday, March 16, 2016 following a brief battle with cancer. She was born on December 10, 1926, in Green Bay to Ernest and Genevieve (Briquelet) Ditzman.
On April 27, 1949, Geraldine married Harvey Adlebush at St. Francis Xavier Cathedral. She was a devoted and loving wife, homemaker, mother, cook, grandmother and great-grandmother. Geraldine loved growing roses, doing crossword and word search puzzles, and going to rummage sales and to thrift stores. She was able to live by herself for many years after her husband died and learned how to run a home on her own.
Geraldine is survived by her daughters and their spouses, Diane and John Gillis, Teresa and Tom Adams, Debbie and Mark Karnopp, Julie and Jeff Gorall, Lisa and Pat Hoagland; grandchildren, Justin, Paul, Jason, William, Luke, Lindsey, Brandon, Nick, Jennifer, Nichole, and James; great-grandchildren, Lauren, Owen, Emily, and Kenzie; her brother and sister-in-law, Frank and Judy Kraft; nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey; her parents; her sister, Lucille; two nieces, Laurel and Donna; and her dog, Snowball.
Friends may call at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave., from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday. The Funeral Service will be held at 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home with Rev. Steve Fewell officiating.
