FLOYD VESTAL DIED AT TOPEKA DEC. 8
Floyd Fred Vestal, 67, of Topeka, Kan., died Thursday, Dec. 8, at a Topeka hospital. He was a former resident of Lovewell, Kan., and was the father of Mrs. Edwin ?arr of Webber.
Mr. Vestal, also known as Pete, was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Vestal. He was born at Webber on Oct. 8, 1899.
He owned and operated Vestal's Used Cars at 10th and Jewell, and retired last May. He attended a Methodist Church in Topeka.
Survivors include his wife, Mr. Harriet Vestal, of the home; two daughters, Mrs. Edwin Marr, Webber, and Mrs. Clarence Schmadeke of Wepping Water, Neb.; three brothers, Glenn Vestal of Kansas City, Kan., Fay Vestal of Webber, Kan., and Guy Val of Longview, Wash.; one sister, Mrs. Dora Mayfeld, Longview, Wash.; and five grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Saturday morning at the Wall-Difenderser Funeral Home in Topeka and Saturday afternoon at the Lovewell Methodist Church. Burial was at Fairview Cemetery.
