Comments: Corporal Dulin was a member of Company I, 3rd Battalion, 187th Airborne Infantry Regimental Combat Team. He was Killed in Action while fighting the enemy in North Korea on October 21, 1950. He was known as "Dan." Dan was buried in a combat grave, in his parachute, at the UN Cemetery, Pyongyang, North Korea, on October 26th, 1950 along with several men of his unit to include Welton Trull, Raul S. Tonche, Sr, Luciano Maldonado, and LeRoy Cooke. By December, 1950 this area was in enemy hands. His remains have yet to be identified. His family has called and also sent DNA samples to the Department of Defense.
Corporal Dulin was awarded the Purple Heart, the Combat Infantryman's Badge, the Korean Service Medal, the United Nations Service Medal, the National Defense Service Medal, the Korean Presidential Unit Citation and the Republic of Korea War Service Medal.
His name is inscribed on the Courts of the Missing, Court 4, at the Honolulu Memorial.
