Death date on footmarker is incorrect.
.
Burial location: Section 3, Block 1 in the Judge James Andrew Bilbro family plot.
.
As one can see the marker is more modern and likely placed there many years after the death of Mr. Bilbro. Note the death certificate shows the year as 1936. LDS did a survey in the 1960's and there were no markers for BILBRO in Forrest Cemetery, so this is proof that markers were added at a later date.

.
Mason Bilbro, 44, died in the government hospital at Tucson, Ariz., yesterday according to telegrams received here last night.

The body will be brought here for burial and for funeral services at the chapel of the Woodliff Funeral Home. It will hardly arrive here until Friday night. In that case the service will be held Saturday, possibly not until Sunday.

Mr. Bilbro had been sick for some time and his recovery had been doubtful for months, but his death came as a great shock to his friends and those of the family in Gadsden. He was well and favorably known in the city, having been reared here. He was a brilliant pianist and musical instructor and was also a linguist.

The deceased was the son of the late Judge James A. Bilbro, one of the most distinguished lawyers and jurists ever produced by Alabama. His father and mother were both brilliantly educated and were among the most prominent citizens of Gadsden for many years. Judge Bilbro was a circuit judge here for several terms and was second to none in Alabama in his knowledge of law.

Mason and his sister, Miss Mathilde, widely known author and musician, were the last of the family. They had been residing in the West for some time.

Mason Bilbro was a veteran of the World War.
