Cooperstown news:
The funeral of the late Mrs. Henry Elmer, nee Alma(sic) Lodl of Maribel, who died Dec. 30 of bronchial pneumonia following influenza was held Thursday at Greenstreet with adjournment in adjoining cemetery.

She leaves to mourn three small children and a husband. The children are Alvin aged 4, Wenzel aged 2, and Anita age 3 months. Also a father and one sister Mary and three brothers, Frank, Henry and John Lodl, the latter at a camp in Alabama who received a furlough to attend his sister's funeral but did not arrive in time for the burial.

Mrs. Elmer leaves many friends. Deceased will always be remembered as a loving wife and mother and a dear friend. Her good deeds will long be cherished in memory of those with whom she came in contact. She was 33 years old when death came.

Among out of town guests who attended the funeral of Mrs. Elmer were Mr. Pavlichek of Antigo, Mrs. J. Elmer and Mrs. Otto Drews of Manitowoc, Simon Dufek of Maribel, Frank Elmer of Green Bay, James Zahorik of Mishicot, and Mr. and Mrs. Casper Schaden and daughter of Two Rivers.

John Lodl arrived here this morning from Camp McClellan, Ala., called home to attend the funeral of his sister, Mrs. Henry Elmer at Maribel. Private Lodl's home is at Larrabee.
