The Stover Family:

Samuel Abraham Stover met Mary Catherine Waite, no evidence of a marriage was found. She was born Sept 24 1856 and died Nov 17 1920. Mary then married Charles Lindeman Beck and had three children Carrie, Maude & John. No death certificate has been found for Mary Catherine, her husband Charles is supposedly buried in Rebersburg but he is not listed in the Cemetery book of Miles township.
Centre Daily Times Aug 5 1946:
Herbert Harrison Stover, 69,well known Smullton merchant & printer, died at his home yesterday of a heart attack. Mr. Stover had been ill for several months. He was a member of the Evangelical Church and the P.O.S. of A.
He was born at Smullton the son of Abraham & Mary (Waite) Stover. His wife the former Gertrude Styers whom he married May 7, 1896 died less than a year ago.
Two sons Jennings H Stover & John G Stover survive. Two half sisters Mrs. Carrie Beck of Madisonburg & Mrs. Maude Leach of Wilkes Barre and a half brother of Wilkes Barre survive.
