SCOTT - On the 24th instant, Mrs. JANE SCOTT, in the 26th year of her age.
The relatives and friends of the family are respectfully invited to attend the funeral, from the residence of her husband, 1703 South street, on Saturday, 26th instant, at 2 o'clock.
NOTES:
1) wife of John Scott - not sure what became of him; have yet to find a marriage record for him and Jane or to any other person
2) cause of death: puerperal fever (fever following childbirth, due to infection of the uterus)
3) she is buried with the family of her brother, John Carson
