Margaret Edith (Oltman) Anderson

Margaret E. Anderson, 87, of Palmyra, Mo., died Friday, April 16, 1999, at the Maple Lawn Nursing Home in Palmyra. Services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Kirk, Huggins and Esterdahl Funeral Home, Orion. Burial will be in Western Township Cemetery, Orion. Visitation will be from 11:30 a.m. to service time on Tuesday. Memorials may be made to the Palmyra United Methodist Church.

The former Margaret E. Oltman was born April 16, 1912, in Geneseo, the daughter of George B. and Lillian Johnson Oltman. She married Daniel S. Anderson June 17, 1931, in Springfield, Ill. Mrs. Anderson was a member of Palmyra United Methodist Church. She attended Hampton and East Moline Schools.

Survivors include her husband, Daniel; sons and daughters-in-law, Robert E. and Barbara Anderson, Silvis, and Daniel S. Jr. and Caroline Anderson, Fairfax, Va.; five grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and a brother, Kenneth Oltman, Gainesville, Fla. She was preceded in death by a son, Ronald Andrew Anderson, one sister and one brother.
