NEWBURG J. Charles Brenize, 80, of 8877 Newburg Road, died Thursday (Monday) at home.
He was a retired dairy farmer; a member of Newburg First Church of God and its Men's Bible Class, a former member of Chambersburg Area School Board; a former supervisor of Lurgan Twp.; and former member of Pennsylvania Farmers Association.
Surviving are his wife, Irene E. Beam Brenize; two sons, Samuel C. of Phoenixville and Dennis A. of Newburg; a daughter, Joanne E. Zimmerman of Newburg; a brother, Arthur A. of Newburg; three sisters, Ruth R. Snoke of Shippensburg and Mary C. Mowery and Vera B. Swartz, both of Newburg; nine grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and two step-great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in his church. Burial will be in Otterbein Cemetery, Lurgan Twp.
Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home, Shippensburg.
Memorial contributions may be made to Newburg First Church of God, 260 Newburg Road, Newburg 17240.
