Mitchell was born in Genesee, MI on August 11, 1964, son of Clifton and Shirley (June) Scott. Mitchell graduated from Genesee High School in 1982. He owned Scott's Lawn Care for the past 20 years. Mitchell enjoyed outdoor activities, fixing things, snowmobiling, working on his truck, helping people and had a big heart. He will be missed by many.
Mitchell is survived by his mother, Shirley; brother, Matt Scott of Traverse City; aunts, Kathy (Gary) June of Goodrich and Linda Ripenbark of Hale. He was preceded in death by father, Clifton Scott on January 11, 2012 and brother, Jeff Scott in 2014.
