Mary Joann Turnpaugh, 70, Kokomo, passed away at 12:50 AM, Wednesday, March 23, 2016, at St. Vincent Hospital Kokomo. She was born June 23, 1945 in Kokomo, to William Milligan and Florence (Tolley) Milligan. She was married to Joseph Elvin Pate and he preceded her in death January 21, 2003. She later married Weldon Leroy Turnpaugh on June 8, 2004, in Kokomo and he survives. She retired from Delco Electronics after 30 years of service. She enjoyed gambling and making trips to casinos.

Survivors include a son, James Bagby Jr. of Kokomo; daughter, Stacey and husband Dave Hilker of Kokomo; step son, Steve Turnpaugh of Argos; step daughter, Teresa Romine of Indianapolis; step son, Mike and wife Mary Turnpaugh of Macy; step daughter, Marla Pelszynski of Warsaw; step son, Mark and wife Vicki Turnpaugh of Kewanna; sister, Betty Hodge of Florida; sister, Dixie and husband Blackie Lancaster of Miami, IN; sister, Deloris Milligan of McAllen, TX; brother, Mike A. and Linda Milligan of Galveston; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews and also her dog Lexie.

She was preceded in death by an infant son David Allen Bagby, 1 brother, and 3 sisters.

Services will be held at 1:00 PM Monday, at Ellers Mortuary Webster Street Chapel 3400 S. Webster Street, with Pastor Mike Milligan officiating. Burial will follow in Crown Point Cemetery.
