Mrs. Jennings was predeceased by her first husband, Elmer Chapman and her second husband, Paul Jennings; her stepson, Larry Jennings; her sister, Eleanor Lambert, and her brothers, Arch, Dan, Edgar, and Stedman Snipes.
Mrs. Jennings was a member of Berry's Grove Baptist Church. She was retired from Bell South. Dorothy was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and White Shrine.
Surviving are her brother, Alfred Snipes (Joyce) of Timberlake; her stepson, Daniel Jennings (Janet) of Lewisville; her stepdaughter, Tona Torrandell (Ramon) of Orlando, FL; four step grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be 4:00 p.m. Saturday, March 26, 2016, at Brooks and White Chapel with the Rev. Craig Willingham officiating. Burial will be in the Burchwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
