Rollin died from a massive stroke. He was a cook by trade. He loved music and took great pride in the meals that he cooked. Friends and family were everything to him. Many have said that "he would give you the shirt off his back if you wanted it" Due to bad weather no one in the family was able to attend his funeral. His daughter Patricia preceeded in in death in April of the same year from cancer. He has two daughters still living Sarah and Cheryl. He has 7 grandchildren, (Patricia) Brian and Katherine, (Sarah) Bethany and (Cheryl) Christina, Victoria, Kenneth and William. 6 great-grandchildren (Christina) James, Brenden, and Lyndsie (Victoria) Arron, Hannah and Donnald. James died from SIDS in 1997 at the age of 7 weeks.
