Age 81, Passed away Thursday, July 21, 1977, at her home. Mrs. Knapp was born in Racine on December 17, 1895 and had been a lifetime resident. She was the Secretary and Treasurer of the Fred C. Knapp Engraving Co., and was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, St. Mary's Hospital Aides and the Florence Nightingale Society. Surviving are three sons and two daughters-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Ray (Inger) Knapp of Racine, Mr. and Mrs. Robert (Catherine) Knapp of Racine and Mr. Richard Knapp of Racine; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; one brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert (Rosemary) Henken of Racine; one sister, Mrs. Helen Helm of Racine; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred C. Knapp, on January 25, 1972. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 23, at 8:30 a.m. at the Strouf-Sheffield Funeral Home and at 9:00 a.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church. The Rev. Erwin E. Mogilka will officiate. Entombment will be at Calvary Cemetery Garden Court Crypts. Friends may call this (Friday) evening from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m. at the Strouf-Sheffield Funeral Home, 1001 High St. The Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. this evening at the Funeral Home. Please direct memorials to your favorite Charity.
