Ole Evan Kolstad, Ole, age 74, of Dousman, WI, Went home to the Lord on Tuesday, July 31, 2012.


He is survived by his beloved wife and best friend, Rose (nee Penzkover).

Loving Pops of Mary Linde, Timothy (Tammie), Evan (Wendy), Tiffanie (Orlando) Castillo, Cassandra Torres, Sara (Neal) Johnson and Josh and Jesse Dakin.

Proud grandpa of Andy, Keith, Aubrey, Mya, Brianna, Jadliene, Rachel, Maricela, Faith, Isabelle,

Great-grandson Lucas,

and special nephew Isaiah.

He was also loved by his sister, Anita (the late Chester) Huntington;

5 brothers: Chuck (the late Jean), Gary (Carmen), Erling (Carole) Lon and Anthony "Andy";

sisters-in-law: Kathy and Carol Penzkover, Alice (Dan) Davis, Maryanne (Jeff) Fournier

and brothers-in-law: John (Sally), Bruce, Charles (Debby) and Mark (Angela).

He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.


Ole was preceded in death by his brother Merwyn "Mike",

sister-in-law Patty, and brother-in-law Alan.


Ole proudly served in the US Army and was chosen as a Color Guard for the John F. Kennedy motorcade. He was employed at Amron for 32 years. He enjoyed motorcycle riding, fishing, hunting, and family reunions.


Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 5, 2012 from 2 to 4pm at ST LUKES LUTHERAN CHURCH, WAUKESHA. Services will begin at 4pm. Private burial at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
