Surviving, are his wife, Emelene Blackburn Porter; three sons, Timothy, Rickey and Curtis; two daughters, Peggy Vallandingham and Kimberly Porter; two brothers, William Porter of Portsmouth and Edward Porter of Pittsburgh, PA; and two grandchildren.
