A funeral Mass for Charles E Mallette, 89, of Ogdensburg at Notre Dame Church with Rev. F. James Shurtleff officiating. Interment at Foxwood Memorial Park with Military honors.

Mr. Mallette died Mar, 23, 2016 at Claxton Hepburn Medical Center.

Surviving is his wife Joyce; two sons Gary Mallette and companion Luanne Felix, Gregg Mallette and wife Emily all of Ogdensburg; a daughter Micki Cabral and husband Jess of Fallon NV and Dyan Mallette of Ogdensburg; two brothers Arthur Mallette and wife Rhea of Windover, Ont., Joseph Mallette and wife Pauline of Aurora CO; two sisters Rita McCarthy and Mary Brenno of Ogdensburg; 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. A brother Gerald Mallette and two sisters Theresa and Annette Mallette predeceased him.

Charlie was born Oct. 30, 1926 in Ogdensburg, son of Donald & Emilla Drouin Mallette. He attended OFA and served in USA during WWII; he then married Joyce Hogle on June 25, 1949 at Notre Dame Church.

He worked at McConville's, Diamond National and later with the NYS Dep. of Transportation. He was a member of Notre Dame Church, Odd Fellows and the Maple City Swingers. Arrangements with Fox and Murray Funeral Home.
