Leroy B. (Moose) Ritter Sr., 77, of 496 Oak Blvd., Beaverton, died Monday, Nov. 11, in the Saginaw General Hospital following a short illness.
Born in Lancaster, Pa., Jan. 22, 1908, he moved to Gladwin County in 1977 after having a cottage here since 1941. He retired in 1970 after 29 years as a machinist with P. R. Mallory Co., Detroit.
Mr. Ritter and the former Pauline Hoffman were married June 15, 1932, in York, Pa.
Besides his wife, he is survived by 2 sons, Leroy Jr. of Bradenton, Fla. and Richard of Beaverton; 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. from the Hall Funeral Home, Beaverton Chapel. The Rev. Father Joseph Schabel will officiate. Persons may give memorials to the charity of their choice. Gladwin County Record dated 11-13/1985
