John Lawrence Sweeney...Son of Anthony Bernard Sweeney and Mary Ann Sweeney nee Murry of Texarkana,Miller Co, Arkansas. John never married. He was the first Store Room Manager at the Grim Hotel in Texarkana, Texas. and worked there 16 years. He left Texarkana in 1942 and went to Los Angeles, Calif. where he became the Store Room Manager for the Biltmore Hotel. He retired from the Biltmore Hotel in 1960 and moved to Tucson where he lived with his widowed sister, Mary Elizabeth O'Brien. John was a member of the Knight's of Columbus, fourth degree, at St. Cyril's Catholic Church, Tucson, Arizona. John also had been a member of the Bishop Andrew Byrne Fourth Degree General assembly of Little Rock, Arkansas, since 19 April, 1914.
