BREMEN- Donald L. Cripe, 74, of Bremen, went home to be with Jesus at 7:35 p.m. Friday (June 1, 2012) at Bremen Health Care Center. He was born November 4, 1937 in Plymouth, Indiana to Paul Arthur & Mary Alice (Young) Cripe. On Sept. 28, 1963 in Bremen he married Carol A. Shufty. She survives along with 1 daughter, Victoria (Tom) Wardlow of Sevierville, TN, 1 son, Richard Cripe of New Castle, IN, 3 grandchildren, 1 great-grandson, 1 sister, Marilyn Haines of Indianapolis, numerous nieces and nephews and great- nieces and nephews. Don was a member of the United Pentecostal Church in South Bend a member of the Bremen Kiwanis Club, member of the Senior Citizen Chorus of Bremen and a member of the Barbershop Valier’s of South Bend. He retired in 1991 from Uniroyal in Mishawaka where he was employed for over 30 years. A Memorial Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Monday (June 11, 2012) at the United Pentecostal Church, 4609 S. Ironwood Drive, South Bend, IN. Pastor Kenneth Mendenhall will preside. Cremation has taken place. Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements. Memorial contributions may be given to the family.
