Edward Ellis Frank, age 94, of Dayton and formerly of Eaton, passed away Monday, March 28, 2016 at the Walnut Creek Nursing Center, in Kettering. He was born on August 4, 1921 in Eaton to the late Lloyd and Margaret (Kline) Frank. He was a 1939 graduate of Eaton High School and continued his education at the Ray-Vogue Design School in Chicago. He started his working career of 46 years of store display and merchandising beginning at Carson-Pirie-Scot Company in Chicago for several years, then coming back to Dayton to join the U.S. Coast Guard until the war ended in 1946. He then joined Rike's Department Store, and later went toThals and Donefelds in Dayton. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Eaton; was a 60 year member of the Millennium Lodge #779 F&AM and a 60 year member of the Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite Valley of Dayton; member of the Engineers Club and the Grafton Hill Neighborhood Association. He loved sailing and anything to do with boats and water.

He survived by several cousins and many special friends.

A graveside service will be held at 11:30 am on Wednesday, April 6, 2016 at the Mound Hill Cemetery (old section) in Eaton with Rev. Wayne D. Morrison officiating. Girton Schmidt & Boucher Gard Funeral Home, Eaton, OH is assisting the family with arrangements.
