Lynel F. Vincent died Sunday after a sudden illness.
He was born in Hazel Dell Township. He moved from Council Bluffs to California in 1942. He worked there as an engineer for Standard Oil Co. of California. He retired in 1974 after 25 years and returned to Council Bluffs.
He was a member of the Reorganized Church of the Later Day Saints Church and a member of Masonic Lodge.
He had served in the Navy 13 years.
His wife Frances died in 1973.
Survivors include a son , Council Bluffs; three brothers, George, Dale, And Spencer, all of Council Bluffs; a sister, Sylvia Kaufman, Council Bluffs, two grand-daughters.
Services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Cutler Chapel. Elders Tim and Tom Arnold will officiate.
Following cremation internment will be in Walnut Hill Cemetery. Memorial should be sent to the Shrine Hospitals
