Lena Mae Clark, 93, of East Street, formerly of Runnells Street in Portland, died Saturday at Freeport Nursing Home.
She was born in Washburn, a daughter of Abraham and Annie Drost, and attended Washburn schools.
Mrs. Clark owned and operated an apartment house in Portland for many years and she also operated a beauty salon from her home.
She later worked at Cushman's Bakery.
She was a member of the Immanuel Baptist Church.
Her husband, Lawrence Clark, and a son, Edward Place, died earlier.
Surviving are a sister, Bernice Kennedy of Portland; two granddaughters, Sharon Westcott of Freeport and Paula McAuliffe of Westbrook; and two great-grandsons, George Westcott IV of Freeport and Patrick McAuliffe of Westbrook.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at The Immanuel Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Forest City Cemetery. Arrangements are by Hay & Peabody, Portland.
