Wendy Ann Hansen Ulmer was tragically lost to us on March 21, 2016 in Denver, CO. She was born in Manitowoc to Arik and Audrey Hansen. Wendy lost her Mother Audrey when she was five. Wendy's family owned "Hansen the Florist", a third generation greenhouse started in 1902 in Two Rivers. Wendy attended Roncalli High School where she was involved in many activities: 4H, Girl Scouts, Basketball and Marching Band. After Graduation she entered Viterbo College in LaCrosse WI. During her college years she worked for the Company Store. Wendy graduated with a Degree in Business Management. She began her career in St. Paul at Us West. Us West led to many opportunities, one of which was a position in Arizona. Wendy was currently the IT Manager of Training Delivery at UC health Denver. While in Denver Wendy found the love of her life Ben. Wendy and Ben enjoyed Camping, Bowling fishing, four wheeling and of course the love of football and her new adopted team The Denver Broncos. Wendy is survived by her Husband Ben Ulmer, Strasburg, CO; Mother and Father Arik and Shirley Hansen, Two Rivers, WI; Brothers Christian (Lori) Hansen, Oshkosh, WI; Adam (Rebecca) Hansen Warrensburg, MO; Mother In-law Mardy Ulmer, Brother In law Nick (Jenn); nieces Kaylie, Emily, and nephews Ben and Riley; Aunts and Uncles: Lawrence Jr (Carol) Hansen; Jeff (Kaaren) Peterson; Mr. and Mrs. Jerome Cherney; Russell (Sue) Cherney, Mark (Marua) Cherney; Howard (Bonnie) Hardrath; Dean (Polly) Hardrath, Leroy (Connie) Hardrath. Cousins Nick, Eric, Andrea, Jackie, Micheal, Ted, Fred, Ashley, Alisha and Kim as well as many friends.Wendy was proceeded in death by her mother Audrey Ann Cherney, Grandparents Lawrence and Thais Hansen Sr. Aunt Donna Hardrath and Father in law Douglas Ulmer and his brother Kerry.Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, March 31, 2016 at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church 3201 Mishicot Road, Two Rivers, WI. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. Tom Reynebeau with burial to follow services at Forestview Cemetery, Two Rivers.
