Leetonia - Lloyd H. Holloway, age 92, of 39461 Lodge Road died at 6:42 a.m. Wednesday in the Palm Terrace Hospice House, Lakeland, FL.
Mr. Holloway was born January 12, 1914 in Leetonia, a son of Clarence Leroy and Ada Blanche Brinker Holloway and had lived in the area most of his life.

He was a graduate of the David Anderson High School, Lisbon and had been employed as a supervisor for Columbia Gas for 43 years retiring in 1977. He also enjoyed farming on the family farm.

He was a member of the St. Paul's Lutheran Church, the Columbia Gas Quarter Century Club and a former member of the Leetonia Ruritan Club.

He is survived by his wife, Virginia Jones Knisely whom he married May 13,1993; three sons, Gail L. (Sandra) Holloway of Leetonia, Larry E. (Cheryl) Holloway of Salisbury, MD, and L. Jay (Nancy) Holloway of Salem; a step daughter, Jo Gillespie of Lakeland, FL; a sister, Mrs. Martha Gray of Las Vegas, NV; ten grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and four step grandchildren.

He was preceded in death on September 17, 1990 by his first wife, the former Wilma G. Patterson whom he married June 16, 1934, as well as, a sister, Thelma Webb and a brother, Walter Holloway.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at the St. Paul's Lutheran Church with Pastor Kari Lankford officiating. Burial will follow in Oakdale Cemetery. Friends may call from 4-7 p.m. on Monday at the Woods-Rettig Funeral Home, Leetonia and one hour prior to the services on Tuesday at the church.
