Ruth Anne Holford, aged 59, of Ada Township, loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter and sister passed away at her home April 22, 1997. Surviving are her husband Ralph E. Holford; three children, Barbara (Karl) Wooley of Ft. Worth, TX., Kristi (Dan) Miller of Phoenix, AZ., Eric Holford at home; three grandsons, three granddaughters; her mother Jackwin Breen of Grandville; one sister, Sally Holford of Caledonia; two uncles; several aunts; many nieces; nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father Frank Breen, and two brothers, James and Peter Breen. Mrs. Holford was an employee of General Motors for 31 years. Funeral services will be Friday at 1:00 pm in the Metcalf & Jonkoff Chapel, with the Rev. Richard Rowlands of Smith Memorial Congregational Church officiating. Interment Chapel Hill Cemetery. Memorials to Smith Memorial Congregational Church. The family will receive friends Thursday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm at Metcalf and Jonkoff Funeral Service, Cascade Rd. SE at Kenmoor.
