Floyd Eugene Batman born on October 24, 1916, in Koshconong, Missouri passed away September 30, 2006 at the age of 89. Married Pearl Adams on June 22, 1940. He is survived by five children: Lanny, James, Brent, Colette Beck and Kevin. Floyd was a convert to the L.D.S. church and served faithfully as a Stake President, High Counselor and a Sealer at the Mesa Arizona Temple and other callings. He and his wife Pearl served a mission at the Mesa Temple Visitor Center. During WWII, he served in the Navy for four years. Floyd was a retired mortician and owned his own business for 30 years in Portland, Oregon. Graveside services and interment will be held at Wednesday, October 4, 2006 at 12:30 p.m. at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 N. Cave Creek Road, Phoenix, AZ.
