William M. Schoonover, 82, of 403 N. Jackson St., died in a local nursing home yesterday after a long illness. He was a Janesville resident more than 40 years. He was born in Richland County, Oct. 9, 1885 and married Nora Brown in Richland Center. She died in 1947. Surviving are seven sons, EIgie, Floyd and Herbert, all of Janesville, Richard, Fond du Lac, Albert, Fort Atkinson, Leon, Tomah and Doney, Waukesha; two daughters, Mrs. Paul Kite, Atlanta, Ga., and Isabel, Marinette; 19 grandchildren; two brothers, Pearl, New Lisbon and Guy, Beloit: four sisters, Allie and Mrs. Carrie Nichols, both of Janesville, Mrs. Viegie Price, New Lisbon and Mrs. Bertha Rima, Wausau. The Overton Funeral Home is making arrangements for the funeral.
