Kenneth Lyle Barry
A funeral for Kenneth Lyle Barry of Beaverton, a retired warehouse supervisor, will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Riverview Abbey Funeral Home. Entombment will be in Riverview Abbey Mausoleum. He died of pneumonia Sunday in a Portland hospital at the age of 63.
Born July 2, 1930, in Ovid, Colo., he moved to Oregon as a child. He was a graduate of Hillsboro High School. Mr. Barry worked for Unocal for a number of years until his retirement in 1990. His wife of 40 years, Maxine Barry, died in 1990.
Survivors include his daughter, Gaylunn Schmidt of Hillsboro; mother, Lena Wilson of Portland; brother, Eldon of Sheridan; sister, Judy Harris of Clackamas; and two grandchildren.
The family suggests remembrances be contributions to the American Lung Association of Oregon.
