CONSOLIDATED OBITUARY: February 18, 1918 - August 4, 2004 .... Following a very courageous battle with cancer, her eighty-six year journey culminated in her home going on Wednesday, August 4th, 2004 surrounded by her immediate family and in the presence of her Lord and Savoir. Kay was predeceased by her loving husband and best friend of fifty-nine years, Walter, her beloved daughter, Mary Alice, her parents, the late Murray and Alice (Estabrooks) Jewett, her sister and life long friend Mildred, her brothers Walter and Sandy. Kay is survived by her son Robin, his wife and her loving daughter-in-law Gail, her beautiful granddaughter Tammy Jensen and kind husband David, and her very special grandson Timmy. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and many wonderful friends.... Visitation will be held at the Corbett Avenue Wesleyan Church, 53 Corbett Avenue, Fredericton on Saturday August 7, 2004 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM followed by a memorial service celebrating Kay's life at 2 PM Sunday, August 8, 2004 with Rev. P. Thomas officiating, assisted by Rev. R. Benson and Rev. H. Ricker. Internment will follow in the Fredericton Rural Cemetery Extension. For those who wish to place a memorial in honor of Kay's life, the family encourages tributes be made to the Corbett Avenue Wesleyan Church, the Canadian Cancer Society or the Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation.
