Mrs. Abbie M. McQuiston died of a heart attack at her daughter's home in Moline, IL where she had been visiting the last five weeks. Formerly Abbie M. Plummer was born July 18, 1873. In 1891 she married William Sanders who died in 1915. In 1922 she married J. W. McQuiston. He died in 1937. She was a member of the Order of Railroad Conductors Auxiliary, Methodist Church, and Royal Neighbors, all in Burlington.
Survivors, three daughters, one son, three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Body will be taken to Johnson Funeral Home in Centerville, Iowa for services Wednesday. Burial will be in Centerville Cemetery.
